Creases and folds may cause the adhesive to stick poorly to the skin

Leakage as a result of poor contact between adhesive and the skin is typically caused by creases and folds or other irregularities in the area around the stoma that makes it difficult to obtain a proper seal. See below for recommendations.

Our best seal yet!

Brava® Protective Seal is proven to significantly reduce leakage compared to other seals on the market.*
Leakage and skin irritation are common challenges for people with a stoma. A key cause is poor product fit. Brava protective seals are designed to improve product fit by sealing the gap between the stoma and the baseplate.

The Brava® Protective Seal is designed to protect against leakage and protect the skin. It is based on a polymer formulation that provides dual protection. It is easy to shape so it fits snugly around the stoma and can be applied over skin with dips, creases and folds. Upon time of removal, it can be removed easily and cleanly, leaving minimal residue behind.
