Product description

SenSura Mio Concave is the first product specially designed to fit bulges, hernias and curves. The curved star-shaped baseplate fits securely over bulges, hernias and curves. The petals of the star-shape hug the body without creasing or folding. The ring stabilises the centre zone so the stoma gets the necessary support, and guides where to put pressure while fitting. Finally, the elastic adhesive and fit zones follow the body's movements. Together, all the benefits ensure that there is creater contact between the adhesive and the skin.

How does the SenSura® Mio Concave fit the outward area?

The curved star-shaped adhesive plate is specially designed to fit outward body profiles. Like a hand grapping a ball or a starfish sitting on a stone, the product hugs the outward area. The elastic adhesive and fit zones around the adhesive edge ensure that the product can follow movements of the outward area.

Why does the adhesive baseplate come in different sizes?

Every body is different, and so are the sizes and shapes of outward body profiles. That is why the SenSura® Mio Concave 1-piece urostomy baseplate is available in two sizes; small and medium.

Easy to use

The curved star-shaped baseplate is easy to apply because it is inverted, allowing you to better position the baseplate accurately. Once positioned you simply flip the petals over the outward area to get a good fit
