Sunday Times names Coloplast one of the UK's Top 100 medium-sized companies

Coloplast has continued to achieve The Sunday Times ‘top 100’ league table of best companies to work for, coming in at number 69. It is the fifth year running that the company has been named as one of the best medium-sized companies to work for in the UK.

Sam Sedwill, human resources director at Coloplast, said: “To achieve such an accreditation is a fantastic achievement and is testament to the commitment we have to building an open and inclusive culture. It is great to have employees confirm we are doing lots of the right things!”

The accreditation, which follows a star rating system, is based on employee feedback. It recognises organisations which respect employee engagement and wellbeing and credit these as part of the success and growth of their company.

Over 1,050 businesses took part in the surveys this year with employees being asked questions which described the leadership, wellbeing, community engagement and personal growth opportunities at their workplace.

In the survey Coloplast staff stated that they felt they could make a valuable contribution to the success of the company and they were excited about where the firm is going. Other valued initiatives included the excellent customer service training, recognition awards and the open encouragement to develop better products and systems.

The positive feedback from staff led to Coloplast making it to number 69 in the top 100.

Annual Leave

The company provides 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. Employees also have the opportunity to sell up to five days holiday in any calendar year, subject to usual departmental rules.

Share Incentive Plan

The Coloplast Share Incentive Plan is a scheme which allows shares to be provided to employees in a tax-efficient (and NIC-efficient) way. These shares are known as "Partnership Shares".
