Paul Cook joined Coloplast in 2013 as the Sales Director for our Continence Care business after a successful career in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry. Paul made the transition into the position as Director of the Ostomy Care business in June 2014 to head up the exciting future ambitions and developments for the UK business. Paul is  an experienced commercial executive, chartered marketer and has a strong financial and analytical background. Paul has a thorough understanding of the NHS and an ambition to drive partnership relationships with customers across the broad spectrum of the NHS to ensure optimum patient outcomes. A passionate leader who is focused on people development and creating a high performance culture. Paul believes in five key principles:

In October 2016 Paul was appointed General Manager for the Chronic Care business and is using this philosophy to drive high performance across the UK business.

Geraldine Harkins is a graduate of Glasgow University with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. She subsequently graduated with a Diploma in District Nursing from the then, Glasgow College of Technology, subsequently named Glasgow Caledonian University. After gaining some general Nursing experience in both Primary and Secondary care sectors she then specialised in Tissue Viability. To develop this experience she completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Tissue Viability from the University of Wales College of Medicine. After consolidation of her education in Nursing, in both the Acute and Primary Care sectors, Geraldine decided to make a move into the commercial sector where she has held a number of roles in Sales, Marketing, Sales Management and European Management within the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. In July 2012 she assumed her current role as Business Unit Director of Coloplast UK Wound Care Division.

Geraldine passionately believes in the Coloplast Wound Care business. Through both office based and customer facing employees of Coloplast, she is focused on ensuring that the Wound Care business will support clinical and non-clinical, NHS and Private sector employees, in the delivery of superior patient experiences and outcomes. Her ambition is to see Coloplast Wound Care develop and grow in the market and to build Trusted Ethical Partnerships with all customers, both NHS and Private. In doing so, Coloplast Wound Care will support customers in the provision of creative, quality product and service solutions, that will provide patients with optimal clinical outcomes and those responsible for delivery of care with cost-efficient, quality delivery of that care.

Marcus J. Raphael is a highly effective leader with over 23 years experience operating in the international medical device/healthcare sector. He has worked successfully as a director and senior manager, and prior to this had 4 years sales experience as a Product Specialist within the medical industry.

Marcus has well developed interpersonal skills and works in a focussed innovative manner, demonstrating excellent presentation, leadership and teaching skills in order to achieve specific goals. He is an extremely effective manager, with experience of managing and building teams. His mantra is ‘Passion, Leadership, and Enthusiasm’

Duncan Watson

Duncan joined Coloplast in 2015 as the UK Sales Director for our Continence Care business. He has brought with him over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device healthcare industries. Duncan has gained significant success leading UK and European sales including a significant period at Boston Scientific. This success has been gained whilst in operational and strategic roles and he has broadened his approaches across UK marketing functions to ensure that the business generation work integrates with sales fulfilment.

Duncan has enjoyed lead involvement in designing and implementing bespoke sales model transformations and is proud to coach national teams as they develop cultural based change that puts sales at the heart of delivering what consumers want, need and have a right to access. These ‘rights to treatment’ drive Duncan to enable his teams to focus on ensuring that the NHS specialist is aware of the innovations available so that ultimately consumers can fulfil their ambitions to enjoy the best life possible.

Duncan is married to Claire and has four children. A keen sportsman, he is currently enjoying a new passion for marathon running and completed his first, of hopefully many, in around 4 hours in Nottingham this year.

Andy Sutcliffe

Andy Sutcliffe joined Coloplast UK as Director of Payers & Trade in November 2015 having 20 years commercial experience in the Life Science and Medical Device industry with Amersham Biosciences, Johnson & Johnson and with Life Science and Medical Device start-up ventures. During this time Andy has worked in the US and had extensive experience throughout Europe and Japan in increasingly commercial roles including sales management, Head of Business Development and Sales Force Effectiveness Director. Andy has always looked to develop innovative partnerships between industry and NHS or private providers over the last 20 years. 

Andy graduated from Liverpool University and completed a Ph.D. from the Institute of Cancer Studies at University of Birmingham.

Andy’s philosophy on business is about investing time and energy for the long-term; embracing innovation and delivering practical change. Honesty and integrity are the main building blocks of success in any business.

Birgitte Brink Felding

Birgitte Brink Felding joined the UK team in January 2016 as HR Director. Birgitte comes from our HQ in Denmark, where she has worked for the last 10 years in different positions both supporting the Chronic Care and the Wound Care part of the business.

Birgitte has a Master Degree in HRM from Copenhagen Business School and has worked with Recruitment, Development and Leadership training in the pharmaceutical business before joining Coloplast.

Her main focus in her job is to ensure that Coloplast keeps being a great place to work. Attracting and recruiting the best candidates for our open positions is another priority for her and her HR team. Coloplast can offer exciting and challenging jobs and with a continuous focus on People Development she wants to ensure that we can offer career opportunities within the company.

Birgitte has settled down in Stamford.

Myles Davies

Myles Davies is the UK Business Support Director, who joined the UK team in October 2014. Myles joined Coloplast after 7 years with Reckitt Benckiser where he was Supply Finance Controller for their Global Healthcare division.

Myles is a Chartered Management Accountant and brings a wealth of business and commercial expertise to the UK team.

His objective is for the Business Support function to provide the support and the tools, to allow the business to deliver both best in class customer experience and the business financial targets.

Myles and his family have made their home in Grantham.
